Elaine Joyce Kleiser

Elaine Joyce Klumb Kleiser, 82, died on May 17, 2026. She was born in Louisville on October 23, 1943, to the late John Charles and Mary Lee Schott Klumb. Elaine graduated from Atherton High School in 1961, and from the University of Kentucky in 1965. She belonged to the University of Kentucky Fellows Society and was a member of the Hole-in-One Club at Old Bridge Golf Course. In addition to her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her husband Roy Douglas Kleiser.

Elaine is survived by her daughter Sandra Kleiser, son, Wade (Genny) Kleiser, grandchildren, Hagan Kleiser, Quinton Kleiser, Eleanor Black, and Naomi Black, and a brother, Clifford Allen Klumb.

The funeral service will be at 1 pm on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana or the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
