Edith Jean Switzer

Edith Jean (nee Gemmer) Switzer, 94, of Danville, formerly of Bellevue, Kentucky, died February 21, 2023, in Danville. She was born August 11, 1928, in Newport, Kentucky, to the late Homer and Eve L. (nee Strub) Gemmer. Jean was devoted to her husband and children. She is predeceased by her siblings; Eva May (Howard) Nolan, Laura L. (Richard) Swartsel, Homer E. (Marlene) Gemmer; and brother-in-law, Raymond Beck. Jean is survived by her husband of 76 years Roy Lee Switzer; children, Connie L. (nee Switzer) (Daniel H.) Owings and Jeanne M. Switzer; sister, Janet Beck; and many loving nieces and nephews. A graveside service and burial will take place on March 2, 2023, at 1 p.m. at the Chapel at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, Kentucky.
