Dustin Todd Privett, 34, died Saturday, July 3, 2021. He was born in Danville, Kentucky on June 28, 1987, to Suzanne Lee Miles Privett and Mark Privett. Dustin attended Danville Public Schools. His biggest gift was his love of animals, especially dogs. Dustin smiled all the time and was a big tease, who enjoyed teasing everyone. He could fix anything and loved taking things apart. Dustin loved all his family. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Hester and Libby Privett and Tom Miles. He is survived by his wife, Meagan K Privett of Louisville; mother, Suzanne Privett of Danville; his father Mark Privett of Junction City; three sons, Kaleb Tyler Lee Privett (his mother Jessica Clement) of Greensburg, Dustin Todd Privett Jr. of Danville, Riley Todd Wilburn of Junction City; a brother, J. Patrick Shannon (Chelsea) of Danville; a grandmother, Sandra Miles of Danville; aunts, Renee Applin (Chris), Linda Sims (Paul), Sarah Sims, Rita Privett and Teresa Shanks (Marvin); uncles, Tommy Privett (Leah), Larry Privett (Connie); step-children, Vayden Clark, Dawson Clark; nieces and nephews, Jude Shannon, Luna Shannon and Desmond Shannon; cousins, Justin Saylor, Caleb Childers and Marley Shanks. The funeral service will be 2pm, Friday, July 9, 2021, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Father Anthony McLaughlin will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Moreland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Patrick Shannon, Camron Clark, Caleb Childers, Brandon Warren, Devon Wilkinson, Justin Grey, Justin Saylor, Jonathan Turpin, and Chris Applin. Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Derouse, Josh White, Devin Wilburn, and Jeffery Cutter. Visitation will be 11 am – 2 pm, Friday, prior to the service at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to the Family of Dustin Privett, c/o Stith Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses. Family asks that you wear a white shirt in honor of Dustin.
