Dorothy Lewis

Dorothy Mae Nichols Lewis, 83, died on November 22, 2023.  She was born on April 14, 1940, to the late Shine and Clarcy Nichols.  Dorothy loved music and was always singing in the house.  She loved nature and spent her time bird watching and fishing.  She also frequently could be found \"antique picking.\"  She could also spot a 4-leaf clover from yards away.  In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a son, Ricky Crain. Dorothy is survived by her son Briscoe Crain III (Valerie); grandchildren, Dion Crain, Briscoe Crain IV, and Amanda Crain (Brad Moore), great-grandchildren, Rilynn Crain and Wyatt Moore, a brother, John Nichols; sisters, Charlotte Floyd, Nora Nichols, and Henrietta Eldridge, and a daughter-in-law, Stacy Crain. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City.  Rev. Brad King will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Rilynn Crain, Brad Moore, Aaron Moore, Michael Lunsford, Michael Floyd, and Michael Moore.  Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service.  Memorial donations may be made to Heritage Hospice Inc.  An online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
