Donna L. Cox, 75, died Saturday, December 23, 2017, at her home. Born October 1, 1942 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Maxine Wilson Wright. She retired from Matsushita as a machine operator and hand packer. Donna was a former member and past president of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Family was everything to Donna and she loved being with her family all the time. She is the widow of Bruce Cox and was also predeceased by a grandson, Bradley Stevens and a brother, Bill Sweats. Donna is survived by her four children, Bruce Wayne (Kim) Cox, Carol Lynn and Tammy (Gary) Followell, all of Junction City and Barbara (Dale) Lewis of Danville; two sisters, Penny Johnson of Junction City and JoAnn Roberts of Smyrna, Tenn. and two brothers, Randy Roark of Junction City and Jim (Donna) Sweets of Arizona, seven grandchildren, Teresa (Eddie) Graves, Kimberly Lynn, Ashley Lynn, Amber Lynn, Cassandra Stevens, Samantha Followell and Tabitha Boswell; eight great-grandchildren, Ariana King, Alexa Stevens, Desiree Phillips, Donna Lynn Boswell, Sumer Boswell, Dakota Phillips, Lisa Leigh Boswell and Trinity Callahan. The funeral service will be Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev Odis Clark will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
