Donald Thomas Smalling, 60, died Sunday, October 1, 2018. He was born in Amittyville, New York on November 19, 1957 to the late George Edward and Stella Anna Rooney Smalling. Donald served in the United States Navy and worked as a truck driver for Bluegrass Trucking. He enjoyed golfing and relaxing with family.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Smalling; a daughter, Terra (Harp) Marley; a sister, Valerie (Briscoe) Crain; a niece, Amanda Crain and a nephew, John Crain.
There will be a graveside service at 2:30 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville. John Crain will officiate. Military honors will be provided. Visitation will be 12 p.m. - 2 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.
