Dixie Sue Adams Snapp, 80, died June 28, 2020 in Garrard County.  She was born on July 3, 1939 in Clay City, KY to Mitchell Lee and Clemmie Mae Adams.  Dixie worked for FKI Logistex and  was a founding member of Unity Baptist Church.  She loved family get togethers, spending time with her great grandsons and cooking for her family.  She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence Thomas Snapp; brother, James Buell Abney and a sister, Patsy Abney Kennon. Dixie is survived by her son, William Snapp of Danville; daughter, Carmen (Rodney) Hampton of Danville; grandson, Zachary (Tara) Hampton; three great-grandsons, Elijah, Ean, and Emmitt Hampton; and her sister, Phyllis McCall. The funeral service will be at 11 am, Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville followed by a graveside service at Clarmont Memorial Gardens in Winchester.  James Conn will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville.  The online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
