Dianne ‘Petie” Marie Gilliam, 72, died on September 21, 2024. She was born on August 29, 1952, in Danville to the late Robert and Christine Leffew Gilliam. Petie was an avid UK football and basketball fan. She enjoyed listening to all kinds of music. She loved her family, especially her nephew and great-nephew. In addition to her parents, Petie was predeceased by a sister Brenda Gilliam and a niece Jennifer Dale Gilliam.
Dianne is survived by her sisters, Robin Gilliam, Margaret Gilliam, and Barbara (Jerry) Russell, a brother, Robert Dale Gilliam (Roberta Franklin), niece, Dana Gilliam, nephew, Dustin Gilliam, great-nephew, Kaicen Walker, aunt, Mary Leffew Drew, and several cousins.
Visitation will be from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. The funeral service will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society or the Disabled Veterans of America. An online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
