David Newhall
January 25, 1966 ~ June 15, 2023
David Chester Newhall, 57, lifelong resident of Danville, Kentucky, died Thursday, June 15, 2023. He was born to the late David and Edna Newhall on January 25, 1966, in Burlington, Vermont.
David had a dry wit and humor and was a dedicated caregiver to his parents. He embodied the MacQueen motto, “Constant and Faithful”. David was the kind of friend for which everyone hopes. He played bass guitar in a band with his friends, and not surprisingly, provided the glue for the group. He was a quiet, thoughtful man, preferring entrepreneurship in providing local lawn services and the solitude of tinkering with cars. He brightened when his nephews visited and enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He knew his life’s purpose, humbly completed the task and crossed the finish line, breaking the tape, arms raised in victory. We will forever be grateful and will miss his gentle soul. Now David, go rest high on that mountain.
Survivors include siblings, Rebecca Newhall (Bob Martin), Sandy Spring, MD, John Newhall, Connersville, IN, Jesslyn Newhall, Danville, Kentucky and Melissa Newhall (George Yu), Kiawah Island, SC. He is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
David is predeceased by his parents.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
