Christopher “Chris” Michael Horn, 49 of Lexington died on March 14, 2024, due to an acute brain aneurysm. Chris was born on July 27, 1974, to Sue and Jim Durham and the late Michael L. Horn.
He was a 1993 graduate of Boyle County High School. Chris was a dedicated lineman at 5-Star Electric and had a passion for disc golf, cycling, and cheering on the Cincinnati Bengals. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. His kind and generous spirit shone through in his final act of choosing to be an organ donor.
He is survived by his children Brody Horn of Stanford, Ky., Shelby Horn of Richmond, Ky and Gage (Savannah) Horn of Stanford, Ky, and grandchildren Parker Grace Horn and Landry Jane Horn. his siblings Sara Durham of Danville, Tracy Durham of Enterprise, AL., Sean Horn, and Shea Horn, his grandmother, Linda Baker of Summerville, SC, his uncles Rob Baker, III of Summerville, SC, and  Mark Horn of Cincinnati, OH. He is also
survived by his best friend, Apple, his dog.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Thompson officiating. Pallbearers will be Brody Horn, Gage Horn, Christian Wylie, Adam Curtis, Jack Satterwhite,  and Ashley Black.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Friday, March 22, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home.
A private burial will be held.
Memorial donations are suggested to Operation Christmas Child, Willow Grove Baptist Church, or the Fallen Linemen Organization.
