Chris Wilson Crain, 68, of Gravel Switch, died on February 25, 2025.

Born on July 28, 1956, in Danville, Kentucky, to the late Warren Bruce and Glorianna Hourigan Crain. Chris was preceded in death by his son William Crain, and his brothers Chad Ramey Crain and Ray Ormsby.

He joined the United States Army, serving overseas, and devoted his career to the telecommunications industry, where he served as a supervisor at TCI Cable. His commitment to his work and colleagues was admirable, and he was known for his strong work ethic and leadership skills.
Friends and family will remember Chris for his strength, kindness, and gentle humor, brightening the lives of those around him.

Chris is survived by his daughters Jessica F. Conder and Tammie Horne, his Step-Mom Barbara Crain, his brother Michael Bruce Crain; sisters Carol Michelle Hansen and Jacqueline Koch; grandchildren William Conder and Reana Harmon; great-grandchildren Nevaha King and Noah Cummins, aunts Darnell Davis and Jane Hourigan, along with his extended family.

A memorial visitation will be held 1 – 3 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville.
Chris Wilson Crain will be dearly missed but will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
