Chris Harlan Sr., 52, of Danville, was called to his eternal rest on Monday, September 19, 2022. He was born April 7, 1970, to the late Wanda Harlan Tarrance (Guye “Heavy” Tarrance) and the late Bentley Mays. He was a 1989 graduate of Danville High School. He is survived by his father, Guye ‘Heavy’ Tarrance; his children, Christopher Harlan Jr., Tiffany Harlan, Bryana Harlan, Skyler Barnett, and Cayson Harlan; his stepchildren, Whitney Ford, and Amber Hall; his bonus children, Reese Watson, Zalin Lear, and Marvin McCoomer; his siblings, Tika Tarrance, Bentley Mays Jr., Arnee Payne, Sonyja Taylor, Sean Mays, Mark Stigall, and Tiara Ball; his aunts, Pat Harlan Pigg (Johnnie), Katherine Marie Butts, Mary Johnson, Rosa Smith, Judith Tarrance; uncles, Steven ‘Butch’ Mays, Wendell Mays, Marvin Mays, Vernell (Glenda) Tarrance; and the love of his life, Misty Harlan.
