Charles C. Golden

Charles Cecil “Chuck” Golden, 89, died May 15, 2025. Chuck was born on September 4, 1935, in Shirley, Arkansas, to the late Winfred and Erma Golden. Chuck was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Katie Golden whom he built an incredible life. He was a dedicated business owner in the health and fitness industry, renowned for his commitment to serving his community and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Chuck was a United States Air Force veteran. He was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for health and fitness. Chuck and his wife Katie were the owners of Golden Hills Trail Rides.

He is survived by his daughters, Kathy (Susan Stuth) Golden, Charlotte (William) Gray and Kimberly Golden, his brother Lloyd (Ceil) Golden and his beloved grandchildren, Rachael (Ryan) Heneise, William (Haleigh) Gray, Katie Heitmann, and Kylie Heitmann, and great-grandchildren Everett Heneise, Brooks Gray, and great-granddaughters Ramona, Georgia-Kate and Clara.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, Kentucky. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Monday, June 2, 2025, also at Stith Funeral Home with Rev. Basil Hall officiating. Followed by burial at Bellevue Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Air Force and American Legion Caswell Saufley Post #18.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Sunshine Acres Children’s Home (3405 N. Higley Rd, Mesa, AZ 85215).
