Carolyn Whitaker

Carolyn Faye Whitaker, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024. She was born on August 20, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, she is the daughter of James Theodore and Marple Owens Wilson. In an era marked by resilience and hope, Carolyn lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to her family, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy that will endure for generations to come. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles James Whitaker, Jr.

Carolyn\'s warmth and nurturing nature were best exemplified in her roles as a devoted spouse and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her gentle and loving nature can be found in her poetry and writings, which she was very passionate about.

She is survived by her son, Charles \'Chuck\' (Michelle) Whitaker of Fenton, MO, her daughter, Elizabeth (Keith) Julius of Danville, KY,  four grandchildren, Alexandra, Nathan, Noah, and Elijah, and six great-grandchildren, Mercer, Lochlan, Anastasia, Marree, Ryamas, and Janiya.

Services will be held in Missouri at a later date.
