Carlos Lee Hafley, Jr., 61 of Junction City died January 4, 2017. Born August 12, 1955 to Carlos \"Todd\" Lee Hafley and Hazel Lena Elder Cross, he was retired from Caterpillar and ATR. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion Caswell Saufley Post, the AmVets and the Patriot Guard. He was a 1973 graduate of Boyle County High School. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randall \"Wig\" West, and sister Barbara Harris. Survivors include his wife, Judy Hafley of Junction City, son Otis Lee (Sarah Perry) Hafley of Junction City, daughter Rebecca Hafley of Moreland, step-children, Dana (Bobby Cooper) Clements, Tracy (Joe) Cox, Stacy (Jamie Stringer) Marksbury, ten grandchildren, Memfis Lance Hafley, Linda Mae Hafley, Cierra Clements, Matthew (Bubby) Clements, Alex Cox, Caleb Cox, Shaylee Cox, Nick Woodward, Evert Stringer and Hayden Stringer, step-father Billy Cross, a brother, Barry (Janice) Sinkhorn, of Junction City, a sister, Tammie Cross, a brother-in-law, Will Harris, several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be 1p.m., Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Rev. Ron Farris will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Tuesday at Stith Funeral Home, Junction. Military honors will be performed by the United States Marine Corps, American Legion Saufley Post #18 and the Patriot Guard. Interment will be in Wilson-Fairview Cemetery.
