Carl L. Sinkhorn Sr.

Carl Leslie Sinkhorn Sr., 90 of Seymour, Indiana formerly of Boyle County died May 14, 2024. He was born January 30, 1934, in Parksville, KY, to the late Hubert and Alice Honaker Sinkhorn.

Carl was a dedicated steel worker in the manufacturing industry, employed by Republic/LTV Steel. He enlisted in the Army on November 15, 1954, and served until October 31, 1956, achieving the rank of PVT – 2. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Martha Rogers Sinkhorn, his son Carl “Les” Sinkhorn, Jr., his siblings Jeanette Wade, Donald Sinkhorn, Leo “Corky” Sinkhorn, Sr., Helen “Heiney” Kondik, and Ronald Sinkhorn.

Carl leaves behind a loving family, including his son Bryan (Amy) Sinkhorn, grandsons Keith Sinkhorn and Kyle Sinkhorn, sister Louellen Simpson and many nieces and nephews. He was a man who cherished his family above all else and will be remembered for his devotion to those he held dear.

A funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City with Rev. Jr. Fields officiating. Visitation will be 12 – 2 p.m. before the service on Monday. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery with military honors provided by the United States Army and the American Legion Caswell Saufley Post #18.
