Candace Anne Scott, died unexpectedly on June 13, 2024, in Danville, KY, at the age of 51. She was born in Danville on July 14, 1972, to her mother Gloria Loving, and the late James Leslie “Bo” Hargis, Sr.

Candace was a devoted homemaker who found immense joy in her children and grandchildren. Her kind and loving nature touched the lives of all those around her, and her family meant the world to her.

She is survived by her son Brandon Graham, her daughters Aimee Raider and Stephany Harrison, her fiance Michael Lopez, and his children Daniel Blake Lopez and Chris Denham. Her beloved grandchildren Hutson Lee Wayne Graham, Max Curtis Lopez, Blakelynn Lopez, her siblings Alfred Cassidy, James “JimBo” Leslie Hargis, Jr., Stephanie Marie (Jeff) Gilbert, Melissa Ann Hargis, and Bree Kunz. Family and friends will forever treasure her memory.

A funeral service to honor Candace’s life will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville with visitation from 11 a.m. to  1 p.m. prior to the service. The burial will be in Burgin Memorial Garden.
