Betty Jean Daley Robertson, 94, died Saturday, July 25, 2020. Born March 15, 1926 in Moreland, daughter of the late Jasper and Bessie Pritchett Daley. Betty attended Danville Schools and was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. She worked for Proctor and Gamble Company, Genesco Company for seven years, and retired from American Greetings. She is predeceased by her husband, Charlie Robertson; her daughter, Shirley Carter; six sisters, Fay Lawson, Dorothy Worthington, Nell Morrison, Evelyn Carter, Josie Daley, and Christine Daley; and two brothers, JT Daley and Paul Daley. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Thelma Jean and Bernard Lister of Danville; three grandchildren, Stacy (Dan) Muir of Danville, Dana (Gregg) Frondal of Danville, and Tina (Rusty) Cox of Danville; seven great-grandchildren, Charlie (Chelsea) Cox, Courtney (Kyle) Snider, Kristen Carrier, Kenton Carrier, Karson Carrier, Christopher Frondal, and Shelby Frondal; two great-great grandchildren, Caroline Cox and Gabriella “Gabby” Snider; and several nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held July 29, 2020. Rev. Brent Rowe will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to The Gideon’s International.
