Betty Robertson

Betty Joyce Jeffries Robertson, 79, departed this life for her heavenly home on the morning of September 27, 2026. Betty will be remembered as a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was born in Metcalfe County on October 24, 1946, to the late Harold and Cynthia Edwards Jeffries. Betty was an LPN who worked in Boyle and Lincoln Counties for over 40 years. She loved the Lord and was a member of Indian Hills Christian Church where she loved to volunteer. She oversaw the visitation program and worked in the nursery. She also taught a children’s Sunday School class and youth group . Betty was an excellent seamstress and an amazing cook. She loved to decorate her home for the holidays. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She enjoyed cooking Christmas dinner and baking an assortment of goodies for her family and friends.

In addition to her parents Betty was predeceased by her brother Gordon Jeffries and a brother-in-law, John Wesley.

Betty is survived by her husband of over 61 years, Floyd Robertson, Jr., sons, Tim (Gina) Robertson, and David (Stacey) Robertson, grandchildren, Drew Robertson, Rylee Robertson, Ryan Robertson, Jared Harvey and Kalen Perez, sister, Marilyn Wesley, and brother Helton Jeffries.

The funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Monday, October 5th at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Terry Brown and Bro. Odis Clark will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brian Adams, Brandon McGlone, Ryan Robertson, Drew Robertson, Scott Stines, Tim Robertson.

Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens.
