Betty Jean Keeton

Betty Jean Southerland Keeton, 85, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019. She was born in Cynthiana, Kentucky on September 3, 1933 to the late Oatley and Verla Johnson Southerland. Betty was a retired Bus Driver and attended Parksville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, James K. Keeton; an infant son, Charles Michael; two sons Van Keeton and Bobby Ray Hiter; one brother, Hubert; four sisters, Katherine Downing, Beulah Monroe, Josephine Hiter and Edith Overstreet.
She is survived by a son, Donnie Anderson; three daughters, Betty Jo Holton of Junction City, Elaine Wilcher of Danville, Beverly Wray of Bassett, Virginia.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Keith Weldon will officiate. Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2019 at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice.
