Betty Jean Cox Fair, 47, of Stanford, died Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was born in Marion County, Kentucky on November 27, 1969 to Altha and Elizabeth Ellen Hafley Cox. Betty worked for Hobart Corporation as an Assembler/Fabricator. She attended Bruce’s Chapel and participated in United Way Day of Caring by working at the Bluebird Market. Betty enjoyed taking selfies, camping at the lake, and boating. She loved her grandbabies, and her dog Gizmo. Betty always had a smile on her face. She is predeceased by a brother, Lucien Cox, and a sister, Suzie Edelen. She is survived by the love of her life, John Sharp; one son, Nathan Stevens; two daughters Kayla Stevens, Shea Stevens; John’s daughters, Gracelyn Sharp, Savanna Sharp; four brothers, William (Frances) Cox, Charlie (Sue) Cox, Altha Cox Jr., Jamie (Shayna) Cox; three sisters, Brenda (Warren) Cox, Lynn (Clayton) Cox, Melissa (Howard) Goode; four grandchildren, Brenden, Brookelynn, Jaxxon, and Raegan; and her beloved dog, Gizmo. The funeral service will be held at 1pm, Wednesday, September 27, 2017, Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Visitation will be after 5pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2017, Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Memorial donations are suggested to Kentucky Cherubs - Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Charity (www.cherubs-cdh.org) or the United Way.   1. My heart goes out to the kids, grandkids, and other family members during this time. She was the best sister in law anyone could ask for, always there no matter what. I will never forget all she has done for me and our family. My daddy loved her so and now she flies high with him.
