Betty Ann Hagan Barrett, 85, passed away Thursday morning, May 9th. Originally from Whitesville, KY, she was the daughter of O.J. “Jack” and Catherine Hagan. She was a homemaker with a flair for decorating. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Barrett whom she married on September 9, 1952; a daughter, Susan Elliott in 2009, and a sister Joy Martin. She is survived by her children; Karen Griffin of Charleston, SC, Pam Wilson (Mike) of Danville, KY, Don Barrett (Felicia) of Stanford, KY and Diane Barrett of Stanford, KY and her grandchildren; Laura Reyes, Lacey Griffin, Landry Chaplot, Jennifer Elliott Lane, Alex Elliott, Daniel Barrett, Courtney Borders, Caitlyn Logue, Joey Lawhorn, Jennifer Curtis and Logan Manuel, and nine great-grandchildren; her sisters, Doris (Al) Knott, Jackie (Virgil) Head, Sue (Dan) Howard, Kay (Shelby) Howard, all of Whitesville, KY and Nancy (the late Frank) Howard of Philpot, KY and a brother, Tony (Debbie) Hagan of Hartford, KY. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church with visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the mass. The Celebrant will be Father Alan Carter. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Catholic Church Visitation: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. prior to the Mass at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church
