Anne Williams Rosson, 93, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 in Danville, KY. Born August 22, 1925 in Ashland, KY to the late Halpin O. Williams and Mary Ida Zook Williams of Louisville, KY. Anne grew up in Louisville and lived in Frankfort for 46 years. She was Assistant Senate Clerk for a number of legislative terms, an officer of the Franklin County Democratic Party, and a Red Cross volunteer. She loved to read in her free time. Anne is predeceased by her husband, the late William Stuart Rosson.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Rosson of Lexington, KY and Susan (John) Goggin of Danville, KY; grandchildren, Zeke (Emily) Goggin, Elizabeth (Mike) Grenko, Katie (Andy) Banks; great-grandchildren, Beau Banks, William Grenko, Adeline Grenko, John Banks and Vivian Banks. A private graveside service will be held at the Frankfort Cemetery in Frankfort, KY with Dr. William E. Goggin officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather at the home of John and Susan Goggin on Saturday, October 19, 2019 beginning at 4pm. Memorial donations suggested to the Humane Society of Boyle County, Habitat for Humanity, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Service: Private Graveside Service at Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort, KY
