Anna Bryant Harris, 80, of Lexington died April 6, 2018 surrounded by her children. Born January 15, 1938 in Danville to the late Flossie Phillips and Marvin Jones and the late Clarence Jesse Bryant. She was raised in Danville and started her family there before moving to Lexington over 50 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond W. Harris Sr., a son Marvin David Harris, her sister Mildred Petry, and three grandchildren Tamara Lynn Harris, Jesse William Harris Jr., and Steven L. Whitmyer.
Survivors include her four sons Raymond W. (Carol) Harris, Jesse William (Bonnie) Harris, Ricky Allen (Wanda) Harris and Michael James (Linda) Harris all of Lexington, her daughter LaVonne Rena (John) Edwards of Richmond, Anna Rena Harris, Linda Dawn Harris, Steven William Johnson, Monday Chennelle Johnson, David Wayne Lawson, Tiffany Rene Harris, Shana L. Whitmyer, Crystal Whitmyer, Michael James Jones, Brittany Mae Harris, David Lee Harris, William Allen Harris, Alicia L. Sawyer, Marvin Lee Durham, Anna Rena Walls, Tabitha Ann Rainey, Johnathon David Edwards, and Geneva Raylynn Wilder, and thirty-four great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, Danville with Rev. Earnest Fields, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be noon - 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers are David Lee Harris, Michael James Jones, William Allen Harris, Johnathon David Edwards, Marvin Lee Durham, Grant Jones and Riley Denham. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations. Memorial donations are suggested to the Humane Society.
Visitation: Noon - 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
