Angela Russell

Angela Noel Russell, a compassionate and devoted individual, had a profound impact on the lives of those around her. On December 26th, 2023, she peacefully passed away in Danville, Kentucky at the age of 65. Angela\'s presence brought joy and light to others, as she dedicated herself to caring for clients as an Adult Daycare Associate at A Gathering Place. She was a cherished member of Immanuel Baptist Church and found great fulfillment in her roles as a mother, grandmother, and in her passions for cooking and baking. Angela is survived by her children Leslie Lay and Chris (Erica) Russell, her father Guy (Pam) Noel, three adored grandsons Jacob Lay, Joseph Lay, Rhett Russell and her sisters Kim (Joe) King, Dereatha Lane, and Cecilia Teater, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her funeral service, officiated by Andy Mikels, will be held on January 3rd, 2024, at 11am at Stith Funeral Home in Danville, with visitation taking place the evening prior from 4-6pm. Pallbearers will be Chris Russell, Jacob Lay, Joseph Lay, Robert Lane, Mattew Coyle, and Justin King. Honorary pallbearers will be A Gathering Place - Adult Daycare Program. Angela\'s memory will forever live on through the lives she touched, as her caring nature, dedication to helping others, and love for her family will never be forgotten.
