Alysson Faulconer
November 9, 1992 ~ August 8, 2026
Faith “Alysson” Faulconer, 33 of Lancaster, Kentucky, died on August 8, 2026 at UK Chandler Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1992 in Danville, Kentucky to William “Bill” J. Faulconer and Linda Brummett Faulconer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda, her grandparents, Lige and Linda Faulconer, and James and Mildred Brummett, her niece, Maisy, and her babies, Emjay, Puddles, Otis, and Mojo. She is survived by her sister, Lauren Faulconer, her father, Bill, her niece, Meisha, her longtime partner and best friend, Zach Harper, her bonus mom, Susan Peel, her bonus kids, Jake and AJ Biddle, her puppy brothers, Cisco and Petey, and her furbabies, Ginger, Bella, Sugar, and Honey.
Alysson was born a free spirit, an adventurer and a wayfarer. She was offered the chance to visit Europe on an educational trip during high school and it sparked a hunger to travel back several more times throughout her years. Alysson’s lifeblood, though, was music. From a young age, Alysson found a proclivity to pick up nearly any instrument and learn to play it with swift proficiency. She joined the Boyle County High School Marching Band in 2005 and played a vital role in the pit for several years. Her family will always remember her for her musical abilities, but none more than her incredible singing voice. Alysson was also a member of the Boyle County High School choir, and she sang every moment she could until her final days. She joined various karaoke groups with her sister over the years and spent every trip to and from school taking the high part of two-part harmonies with Lauren to any movie musical, Bluegrass, or Tenacious D song. Leave the Pieces from The Wreckers was her and her sister’s go-to for any public karaoke duet, however. For the remainder of her years, she found peace singing karaoke at home with her family, choosing to sing a little bit of anything and everything ranging from Teddy Swims to Steven Universe to the Adventure Time soundtrack.
Alysson was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, partner, and friend, and she will be missed more than words could possibly convey. A private family service will be held in memory of Alysson and, as an avid rescuer of so many dogs throughout her life, the family asks that donations be made to the Garrard County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.

She was fun and had a sarcastic wit that was so amusing. I’m truly so sorry to hear of her passing.
Ms. Nancy Ward
Choral Director BCHS
I am playing Beautiful Dawn by The Wailin’ Jennys at her service today. I remember her introduction to this group when the choir sang One Voice, and my entire family has loved their music ever since. Thank you for remembering my sister.
Bill I remember when you and Linda brought the girls to Trinity as tiny tots. So sorry for your loss and that I have not kept up with you and your family.
Bill, you and I both lost our daughters too early. I happily expect to be reunited with Kay in the near future because I am 93 years old. I didn’t know Alyssa but I adored her father, the toddler (you) who so carefully sorted the pebbles in the driveway until he found the perfect one to put in his mouth. I am saying prayers for you, Zach and Lauren and hope you have faith in a reunion with Alyssa and both Lindas in your distant future. Love, Aunt Tevis
You were one of the smartest and most talented people I’ve ever known, and your love of music—especially Doja Cat and all the artists you enjoyed—was such a part of who you were. I’ll always picture you surrounded by Zach, Bella, and Ginger, with music playing, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying life.
I wish we had more time, more conversations, and more memories to make. Losing you has left an emptiness that words can’t explain.
I’ll carry your memory with me always—your laughter, your music, your beautiful mind, and all the little things that made you uniquely you.
Rest peacefully. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never be forgotten. 😘
