Alysson Faulconer

November 9, 1992 ~ August 8, 2026

Faith “Alysson” Faulconer, 33 of Lancaster, Kentucky, died on August 8, 2026 at UK Chandler Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1992 in Danville, Kentucky to William “Bill” J. Faulconer and Linda Brummett Faulconer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda, her grandparents, Lige and Linda Faulconer, and James and Mildred Brummett, her niece, Maisy, and her babies, Emjay, Puddles, Otis, and Mojo. She is survived by her sister, Lauren Faulconer, her father, Bill, her niece, Meisha, her longtime partner and best friend, Zach Harper, her bonus mom, Susan Peel, her bonus kids, Jake and AJ Biddle, her puppy brothers, Cisco and Petey, and her furbabies, Ginger, Bella, Sugar, and Honey.

Alysson was born a free spirit, an adventurer and a wayfarer. She was offered the chance to visit Europe on an educational trip during high school and it sparked a hunger to travel back several more times throughout her years. Alysson’s lifeblood, though, was music. From a young age, Alysson found a proclivity to pick up nearly any instrument and learn to play it with swift proficiency. She joined the Boyle County High School Marching Band in 2005 and played a vital role in the pit for several years. Her family will always remember her for her musical abilities, but none more than her incredible singing voice. Alysson was also a member of the Boyle County High School choir, and she sang every moment she could until her final days. She joined various karaoke groups with her sister over the years and spent every trip to and from school taking the high part of two-part harmonies with Lauren to any movie musical, Bluegrass, or Tenacious D song. Leave the Pieces from The Wreckers was her and her sister’s go-to for any public karaoke duet, however. For the remainder of her years, she found peace singing karaoke at home with her family, choosing to sing a little bit of anything and everything ranging from Teddy Swims to Steven Universe to the Adventure Time soundtrack.

Alysson was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, partner, and friend, and she will be missed more than words could possibly convey. A private family service will be held in memory of Alysson and, as an avid rescuer of so many dogs throughout her life, the family asks that donations be made to the Garrard County Humane Society in lieu of flowers.

Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. To all the family and friends who loved and will miss Alysson, you have my deepest sympathies. My heart aches for all of you. 🙏🏻

  2. Alysson was so talented and along with her sister Lauren, helped her mom and I put together many fun events for the students, lots of fundraising, and just whatever we were doing.
She was fun and had a sarcastic wit that was so amusing. I’m truly so sorry to hear of her passing.

  3. I’m so very sorry to hear this! Alysson was a vital part of the BCHS choral program! A natural singer! She left her light & love in the choir room as she shared her beautiful voice!

    • I am playing Beautiful Dawn by The Wailin’ Jennys at her service today. I remember her introduction to this group when the choir sang One Voice, and my entire family has loved their music ever since. Thank you for remembering my sister.

  4. Bill I remember when you and Linda brought the girls to Trinity as tiny tots. So sorry for your loss and that I have not kept up with you and your family.

  5. I will never be the same without you my sweet baby girl. I will miss our singing session at midnight, I will miss talking about the doggies. I will always miss you. Rest easy ❤️

  6. I wasn’t aware but now understand! I’m so sorry about the loss of your daughter Alysson! Nothing I can say except that I know your pain! It’s not supposed to happen this way! No parent should outlive any of their children yet here we are! May the peace that passeth all understanding keep your heart and mind on the company of heaven and remain with you always! God’s peace my brother! It’s hard but life goes on and take comfort knowing she’s well taken care of and at peace! I don’t mind so much that they are gone because I know where they are – I just hate that they’re gonna be gone so long – never know how long that’ll be! Keep the faith brother! My condolences 🙏

  7. I will never forget the love and care you gave to not just me but everyone you cared for. My life will never be the same without the warmth and joy we shared in the home and life we built together. Those moments we shared will live in my heart forever and I’ll make sure to do everything in my power to give our girls the best life I can. I love you Alysson, and I’ll never stop missing you.

  8. Bill, you and I both lost our daughters too early. I happily expect to be reunited with Kay in the near future because I am 93 years old. I didn’t know Alyssa but I adored her father, the toddler (you) who so carefully sorted the pebbles in the driveway until he found the perfect one to put in his mouth. I am saying prayers for you, Zach and Lauren and hope you have faith in a reunion with Alyssa and both Lindas in your distant future. Love, Aunt Tevis

  9. Bill, so sorry for the Loss of your daughter Jackie & all the Campbell’s Heating & Air staff send sympathy as well we never know what tomorrow brings but peace knowing we know who holds tomorrow prayers today & in the coming days ahead for everyone that knew her & had close connection with her the guys enjoy talking to you when they Luck up & you all show up at the shop at the same time come by anytime & you could catch them all there at 9 0’clock in the mornings getting trucks loaded for the day again we send sincere sympathy 🥲🙏

  10. Some people leave footprints on your heart that time can never erase. Alysson (Princess Bubblegum), you were one of those people. “You and I will always be back then”

You were one of the smartest and most talented people I’ve ever known, and your love of music—especially Doja Cat and all the artists you enjoyed—was such a part of who you were. I’ll always picture you surrounded by Zach, Bella, and Ginger, with music playing, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying life.

I wish we had more time, more conversations, and more memories to make. Losing you has left an emptiness that words can’t explain.

I’ll carry your memory with me always—your laughter, your music, your beautiful mind, and all the little things that made you uniquely you.

Rest peacefully. You will always be loved, always be missed, and never be forgotten. 😘
