Allie Chandis Lykins Noel, 72, of Danville, died Thursday, December 14, 2017. Born October 12, 1945 in Danville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Chandis and Lydia Frances Murphy Lykins. Allie was a graduate of Danville High School and earned her CNA certificate and her LPN degree at the Danville School of Nursing and pursued her associate degree in nursing at the University of Kentucky. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was the widow of Robert Newell Noel. Allie loved to clog and square dance, she crocheted and was an avid follower of DHS football and was a fan of UK Sports. She was an amazing mother, mother-in-law and grandmother and was a kind, loving, compassionate person to everyone she met and most importantly, was strong in her faith. She is survived by her children, Joslein F. Chumbley (Ricky) Noel of Lincoln Co., Phillip L. (Karen) Chumbley of Danville, Lydia C. Chumbley Kendrick of Danville and Robbie Noel of Munfordsville and Debbie (Larry) Pingleton of Lincoln Co.; an aunt, Lorraine Murphy Walling of Lexington and grandchildren, Lucas A. Noel, Shane Tomas (Bertha) Noel, Kayla F. Noel, Hunter J. (Laura) Kendrick, Courtney D. Chumbley, Caitlynn F. Chumbley, Cristina Renee Chumbley and Carrie Lee (Brian) Sallee, Chris Noel and Daniel Ray (Megan) Pingleton; and her great-grandchildren, Axel Thomas Noel, Brandon Noel, Elijah Noel, Gunner Hoskins, Aubrey-Anna Skye Hoskins and Kaya Sallee, Brianna Sallee, Jackson Pingleton and Alexander Pingleton. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m, at Bellevue Cemetery. Rev. Tim Mathis will officiate. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Lucas Noel, Shane Noel, Hunter Kendrick and Hung Walling, Ricky Noel and Randy Blythe. Visitation will be from 11 to 1 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, prior to the graveside service . Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice. Visitation: 11 to 1 p.m., Tuesday Stith Funeral Home, Danville Graveside Service: 1 p.m., Tuesday Bellevue Cemetery
