Alexandria Ann “Sande” Miles, 81, died Friday, December 24, 2021, in Danville, Kentucky. Born November 25, 1940, in Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ann Smith. Sande was a devoted mother and grandmother who adored her family. She loved all animals. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, where her strong faith never wavered. Sande was predeceased by her husband of many years, Thomas W. Miles, and her beloved grandson, Dustin Privett.
Sande is survived by her children: Christopher W. (Karen) Miles, of Junction City, Oregon, Thomas A. (Tracy) Miles of Crystal River, Florida and Suzanne Privett of Danville, Kentucky. Sande had many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren: Chris Miles II (Danielle) of McMinnville, Oregon, Kimberly (James) Reese, of Springfield, Oregon, Benjamin (Lindsey) Miles, of Danville, Kentucky, Rihanna (Robert) Gardener, of Tampa Florida. Granddaughter in law, Meagan Privett, of Danville, Kentucky. Patrick (Chelsea) Shannon, of Danville, Kentucky. Great Grandchildren: Roman, Raelynn & Jaden Miles, of McMinnville, Oregon. Lily Miles of Danville, Kentucky, Ellie Gardner, of Tampa, Florida. Kaleb Privett of Greensburg, Kentucky, Dustin Privett Jr. of Danville, Kentucky, Riley Todd Wilburn of Junction City, Kentucky, Jude, Luna, and Desmond Shannon of Danville, Kentucky.
A private service will be held for both Thomas and Sande. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion in honor of Thomas Miles. Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville/Boyle County Humane Society and/or The Wounded Warrior Project. I am so sorry to hear of Sandy’s and tom’s passing. We use to be close when she lived in Winthrop ma. We had some good times together. I hope her children are good. God bless Cousin Betsy
