Albert Lee Logue, 78, died on November 6, 2025.  He was born in Danville on November 10, 1946, to the late Clarence and Vernia Simpson Logue.  Albert was proud to be United States Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War.  He owned a gas station and later Boyle Electronics where he repaired televisions and computers.  In his spare time, he loved building computers, taking care of his aquariums, and gardening.  He was also a good amateur photographer.  In addition to his parents, Albert was predeceased by a brother George Logue and a cousin, Ronnie Bryant.

Albert is survived by his cousins Amanda Campbell, her son Dillard M. “Mike” (Kelly) Campbell, Diane Larkin, Jimmy Bryant, Patsy Logue, and Debbie Talley.

The funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Danville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Brent Rowe will officiate.   Military honors will be provided by the United States Army and American Legion: Saufley Post #18.

  2. Albert built our computers when I worked at the newspaper. He was very intelligent and had a great sense of humor. Glad a got to know him a little bit in those days.
