I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful lady and spending time with her during her stay with us. We truly enjoyed our time with her . A very special lady . She will be missed.

Anita W. Jacobs, 79, died on March 29, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 18, 1944, to the late William and Drucilla Cottingham Wiggs. Anita was a long time volunteer for Happy Paws Spay and Neuter Clinic and a past county President of the Boyle County Extension Homemakers as well as serving on the American Red Cross Board of Directors while in Corning, New York. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband James.
Anita is survived by her children, James Scott (Rebecca Lynn) Jacobs and Amy (Darrin) Farr, grandson, Matthew (MacKenzie) Farr, sisters, Nannette (Larry) Johnson and Laurie (Albert) Blake, brothers, Robert Wiggs and David (Pam) Wiggs.
A private, family graveside service will be held at Bellevue Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Happy Paws Spay and Neuter Clinic. The online guestbook is available at www.stithcares.com.
