Brenda Kaye Lane

Brenda Kaye Pittman Lane,75, passed on Nov, 21, 2021 in Danville. Born August 11, 1946 in Middleburg to the late Walter Edward and Wanita Pittman. Brenda was a graduate of Casey County High School. Brenda was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She loved to play piano, she played for the Hedgeville Baptist Church and the Bluelick Baptist Church. She also enjoyed singing in the Church Choir. She was a retired Clerk from Walmart. Brenda enjoyed dancing she took many dancing classes. She loved to crochet. Most of all Brenda loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. When she was younger, she enjoyed bowling. Brenda was a great and loving mother. Brenda loved playing cards with her late husband and their friends. There’s nobody who loves a peanut butter milkshake quite like she did. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Timothy Wayne Lane and two brothers James Pittman and Glenn Pittman. Brenda is survived by two daughters Cynthia “Cindy” Louise Lane (William Doug Crossfield) and Lisa Kaye (Keith) Waits; two grandsons Mathew Wayne Maples and Jason Austin Maples; and a sister Mary Louise Godbey. Visitation will be 4 to 7pm Tuesday November 23,2021. Funeral services will be 1 pm Wednesday November 24 at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. Reverend Tucker Huntsinger will officiate. Pallbearers will be Mathew Maples, Jason Maples, Jason Godbey, Timmy Godbey, Rodman Phillips, Jamie Phillip and Walter Glen Pittman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donnie Douglas, Roger Means, Doug Crossfield, Keith Waits, and L.J. Pittman. Memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
