Katie Lyons

Katie Lyons joined Stith Funeral Home in 2025 and works in both Danville and Junction City while pursuing her education in mortuary science. She describes Stith as feeling more like a home than a workplace and values being part of a team that uses each person’s strengths to provide the best possible care for families. Katie is grateful for the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while growing in a field she is passionate about.

A resident of nearby Harrodsburg, Katie enjoys staying involved in her local community. She volunteers with Custom Promotional Products, helping support local schools and community events, including youth sports concessions and Harrodsburg’s Oktoberfest celebrations. She also attends Nineveh Christian Church, where she stays grounded in her faith.

Katie is currently attending Mid-America College of Funeral Service and is known for her attention to detail and caring nature. She takes pride in making sure every detail is handled thoughtfully and enjoys helping others in any way she can.

Outside of work and school, Katie enjoys drawing, crocheting, and spending time with her family. She participated in band for seven years at Mercer Schools and especially enjoys being around her younger brother and energetic baby sister.
