Dana I will truly miss you! Love you and may you rest in peace. Will pray for Johnny to find peace and comfort knowing that you will be with the lord. I loved that you truly loved your love for family, horses and ceramics. Happy that we got to visit you ,and Johnny at different times. Dana Carol Goode Lear, 73, of Stanford, Kentucky, died on October 22, 2026. She was born in Alexandria, Kentucky, on December 6, 1952, to the late Lewis and Emily Kennedy Goode.
Dana worked as a custodian for Genesco and Bate Middle School. She enjoyed attending the Small Farm conferences with her friend, Marion. She was very talented and expressed her creativity and love through ceramics and quilt making and was an avid horse lover.
Dana is survived by her beloved husband, Johnney Lear, her brother, Bud Jackson, and brother-in-laws Homer (Rhonda) Lear and Joe Lear, her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Lear Barnett, half-sisters Becky and Terry, and a great-nephew, Anthony Jackson.
A visitation will be held from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Jeff Sparks officiating.
