Carol Grubbs

Carol Grubbs, 79, of Danville, beloved wife, mother, and friend, died September 30, 2026. Born on July 25, 1947, in Lebanon, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Maureen Hayden.

Carol devoted her life to caring for her loved ones. She was known for her warmth and kindness. Carol had a love for animals, especially birds and dachshunds. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends. Memories that she cherished deeply.

She is survived by her loving husband, Milton Grubbs, with whom she shared 59 years of marriage; her daughter, Mimi White; her sisters, Wanda Sallee, Lorene Pittman, Ruth Pittman, and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Shadrack, whom she loved very much.

A memorial visitation will be 4 – 6 p.m., Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville. A private family burial will take place at Lebanon National Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle County Humane Society in her memory.
