June 15, 1937 ~ August 29, 2026

Chastine Parker, 89, passed away on August 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born in Garrard County on June 15, 1937, to the late Crit and Freda Pipes Barnes. Chastine attended Danville High School and retired from Penn Ventilator.

Chastine’s life was one filled with love for her family. She found joy in the simple things—sharing a meal, sitting and visiting with those she loved, and making sure no one left her home without being cared for. Her family will remember not only the things she did for them, but the warmth, comfort, and love they always felt in her presence. Her home was a place where memories were made, and those memories will continue to be treasured for generations.

In addition to her parents, Chastine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin “Ace” Parker, her son, Lee Parker, and her brother Jonas Barnes.

Chastine is survived by her daughters, Karen (Ceasar) Suarez and Brenda (Kelvin) Rogers; son, Michael (Mona)Parker; her grandchildren, Janessa (Edmond) Bryant, Ashlee (Mikey) Sinkhorn, Elena (Ryan)McMullen, Michael Douglas Parker, Shaina Parker, Dustin (Jenna) Rogers, Kyle Rogers, Branden Parker, Jessie Parker; loving great-grandchildren, and brother, Crit Barnes.
