Blake William Sheaks

Blake William Sheaks, 40, died on August 19, 2026. Blake was born on February 6, 1986, in Joliet, Illinois. Blake was a graduate of Boyle County High School. He loved watching the Chicago Bears, playing board games, and mowing the yard (it was his zen). Blake loved spending time with his family, introducing his sons to new shows and movies, or cooking for his family, especially “Blake’s eggs,” a serious recipe.

Blake proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps during the Iraq Campaign. Later, after his service, Blake became a dedicated Site Safety Technician at Gray Construction, where he brought his commitment and compassion to his work.

Blake is survived by his loving wife, Brittany Miles Sheaks; his two treasured sons, Greyson Miles Sheaks and Owen William Sheaks; his parents, Bill and Pam Sheaks; his brother, Eric (Olivia) Sheaks; and his uncle and aunt, Craig and Kim Warning. He also leaves behind Kaelyn Shay Norvell, whom he considered to be his extra-daughter.

A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor Blake’s life.
