Carol Ann Preston

Carol Ann Preston, 80, died on June 22, 2026. She was born in Danville, KY on October 10, 1945 to the late Hubert and Helen Hammons Preston, where she lived all her life.

Carol worked twelve years at the Kentucky Theater. She enjoyed going on trips with her parents to Gatlingburg and loved traveling with her mother. Carol was a homebody who took pleasure in holidays and gatherings with her family. She was a member of First Baptist Danville Church.

Carol is survived by a host of cousins who cared very much for her and were very involved in her life after the passing of her parents.

Visitation will be held 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 26, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home of Danville. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on June 26, 2026, at Stith Funeral Home of Danville with Bro. Tim Mathis officiating. Pallbearers will be members of First Baptist Danville Church, with honorary pallbearers being the Sunday School Class, “Circle of Love.”Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery.
