Patratha Ann Brown, died on May 24, 2026. Born on December 23, 1949, in Danville, Kentucky to the late Charles and Pauline Yeakey Murphy. Patratha was a beacon of love and compassion throughout her life.
As a dedicated financial counselor, Patratha devoted her career to helping others, particularly in the healthcare field. Her caring nature extended beyond her profession into the lives of her family and friends. Patratha was a beloved mother to her children, Josh and Jaime Brown. She also leaves behind her brother, Charles (Patty) Murphy, and sister, Kasandra (Randy) Stefford, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
A proud grandmother, Patratha found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren, Jascoby Brown, Andrew Kiper, Grady Kiper, and Morgan. Her love for her family was unwavering, and she cherished moments spent together, often engaging in her favorite pastimes of watching westerns and sports.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4th, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, Ky. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, June 5th at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, Ky. Burial will follow the service at Lancaster Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Merk Payton. Pallbearers will be Elliot Rayens, Cruz Murphy, Blake Murphy, Chris Stefford, Steven Stefford, Josh Divine, Derrick Beldon, and Justin Henninger.
Patratha’s compassionate spirit and dedication to her loved ones will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

I met Pat in 1968.We worked at Bell South for many years & have been friends forever!She spent the night with me when I had my first child!She used to spend the night with me when my husband was out of town working at KU because I was scared!Her mom used to make me clothes!I have so many memories on Carrigen Dr🥲🌺❤️🌷🌹Love you Pat!
