My Condolences and Sympathy to the Family. ❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
Jimmie E. Stamper Jr.
June 26, 1968 ~ February 11, 2026
Jimmie Eugene Stamper Jr., 57, passed away on February 11, 2026, in Danville, Kentucky.
He was born on June 26, 1968, in Wise, Virginia. Jimmie dedicated his life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), a profession that reflected the core of who he was—compassionate, selfless, and deeply committed to the well being of those in his care. He was known for going far beyond what was required, often checking on his residents even on his days off, simply because he wanted to make sure they were safe and cared for. Jimmie is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ray Stamper, who passed in 2014, and his sister, Sigrid Kirsten Stamper, who passed in 1983; and his first two dogs who changed his perception of love and kindness, Holy and Fancy Lou.
Outside of his work, Jimmie had a lifelong passion for comic book collecting, toys, and unique trinkets. He found joy in the nostalgic, the colorful, and the imaginative—surrounding himself with small treasures that reflected his playful spirit.
Above all, he was a father and husband whose love for his family was larger than life. He gave everything he had to those he loved, always putting them before himself. His presence was a constant source of strength, humor, and comfort.
He is survived by his loving wife, Patricia Jean Stamper, with whom he shared 32 years of marriage; his two sons, Jackson Dane Stamper (31) and Harrison Blade Stamper (27); and his beloved gaggle of seven dogs—Amber, Toody, Cocoa, Squeeze, Marley, Sandy, and Stormy—who will surely miss him dearly.
