Edith Jean Bradshaw, 80, died on December 23, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born on September 11, 1945, to the late Edward and Emma Stockton, Edith was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert “Bobby” Bradshaw, her daughter Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Jacobs, her brothers James Stockton and Charles Stockton.

Edith spent many years of her life working diligently on the factory assembly line at Whirlpool.
A lover of the outdoors, Edith found immense joy in gardening and being outside, where she cultivated not only her beloved plants but also lasting memories with her family. She cherished shopping excursions with friends and relished the time spent with her grandchildren, fostering a deep bond with each one. Edith was also an avid reader and enjoyed the challenge of a good word search puzzle, often keeping her mind sharp and her spirit lively.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Robin (Sonny) Hamlin; her grandchildren, Travis Jacobs, Jennifer Rawlings, Katie (Cody) Patterson, Matthew Jacobs, Logan (Kerria) Hamlin, and Tim Sparks, as well as her cherished great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Cooper, Oden, Keeley, Maddox, Kade, Karsten, and Oaklynn; sister, Stella McQueary and brother Hizzie (Portia) Stockton.

Edith’s life and wishes will be honored by her family.

As we say goodbye to Edith Jean Bradshaw, let us carry forward her spirit of kindness, her love for life, and her enduring legacy in all the lives she touched.

  2. So sorry for your loss. Edith and I were classmates. Later we were neighbors. Her Mother and I were co workers. They were both very special friends. I loved them both.
