Cora Ann “Sissi” Hamilton, 64, died on November 26, 2025. She was born in Danville on April 13, 1961, to the late Ambers and Edith Mae Wilkinson, Sr. Sissi was a devoted Christian who attended Hedgeville Baptist Church. Sissi was the sound technician at First Baptist Church Danville and Gethsemane Baptist Church for several years.  She was also the sound technician for The Saving Grace 3 for over 10 years. Sissi loved photography and enjoyed participating in the Downtown Danville Gallery Hops. She loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Sissi is survived by her sister Ruby (Doug) Walker, brothers, Ambers (Edwina) Wilkinson, Jr., Emanuel Gray and his significant other Janet Lebrect, her many nieces, and nephews, special friends, Molly Stevens and Steven King.

A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Hedgeville Baptist Church.  Rev. Jonathan Grizzell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ambers Wilkinson, Jr., Malik Wilkinson, Terry Stevens, Doug Walker, Joey Martin and Cecil Lear. Honorary pallbearers will be Emanuel Gray, Molly Stevens, Becky Whited, Vicki Martin, Mary Wells, Kim Owens and the Ladies of Love. Burial will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home in Danville. Memorial donations may be made to Commonwealth Cancer Center or Hedgeville Baptist Church.

Most important, though, is that Sissi was a truly kind, considerate, and compassionate person who always made time for others. I am sorry that this world has lost someone who brought so much light with her smile.
