Rheanna “Rhea” Lynch passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on October 8, 1930, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Robert and Ina Stevens, Rheanna was a lifelong resident of Kentucky, having made her home in Danville for many years. She is predeceased by her husband, Daniel Joseph Lynch, and her sons Stephan Lynch and Daniel Joseph Lynch, III.

Rheanna was proud of her roots as a farmer and dedicated housewife, balancing the demands of her farm with the love and care she devoted to her family. She embodied a spirit of dedication and resilience that has inspired all who knew her. Rheanna was a member of St. Peter & Paul Church, where she fostered a deep sense of community and camaraderie among her friends and fellow parishioners.

Rhea leaves behind her three beloved sons: Michael (Sylvia) Lynch, Hugh Lynch, and David (Gail) Lynch, her grandchildren Mike, Derek, Alex, Katey, Jason, Erica, Greg, Bryan, Zac, and Kelly, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild who will forever cherish the memories of their mother’s warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Stith Funeral Home, Danville, with Father Danny Schwendeman officiating. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Monday at Stith Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kids Can Do or the Kendyl and Friends Foundation.

Rheanna Lynch will be remembered fondly for her strength, love, and the deep impact she had on the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace.
