Born in: Springfield, Kentucky
Resided in: Danville, Kentucky

Catharine Rose Nally Noe entered into eternal life on April 9, 2025, after 87 joyful years of earthly life. She was born and raised in Washington County and graduated from St. Catharine High School and St Catharine College.  Kitty served the Lord in many roles throughout her life, including loving wife to Jere for nearly 68 years and the best Mom their 7 children could have ever asked for.

When her children were at Lexington Catholic High School, she served as a lunchroom lady and helped launch the Hoagie fundraiser.  When the kids were grown and while Jere was in formation for the diaconate, she attended classes and was commissioned as a Lay Pastoral Minister for the newly formed Diocese of Lexington. She served, together with Jere, in many assignments, including at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary in Lexington; St Mark’s in Richmond; St Patrick in Mt Sterling; St. William, Lancaster, KY; and Sts. Peter and Paul in Danville. She was active in RCIA, Cursillo, and CHRP as well as serving as the Director of Family Ministry for the Diocese of Lexington. Kitty enjoyed traveling with Jere, hanging with the Labor Day Gang, and playing bridge. She was a light to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband Jere as well as their children: Jim (Theresa) Noe; Rose Anne Knight; Bob (Trish) Noe; Charles (JoLynn) Noe; Maria (Ron) Hoctor; Susan (John) Cloud; Margaret (Bob Farinelli) Renaud. She was blessed with 19 grandchildren: Jason (Brandi), Katie (Danny), Daniel (Nina), Marisa (Billy), Josh, Robert, Jeremy (Kalea), Parker, Morgan, Maggie (Jared), William, David, Susanne (Jon), Amelia, Elizabeth, Kate, Jack, Matt and Jimmy as well as 9 great grandchildren: Emma, Piper, Isaac, Remy, Abel, Jeremiah, Marlowe, Miles and Bennett plus number 10 on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Rose Nally of Springfield, Kentucky, her brother Robert, and many dear aunts and uncles.
