Posted at the families request. Mr. Charlie Napier, Jr. age 68 of Lily, Kentucky passed away on Saturday morning at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky. He was the father of Charlie Edward Napier and Kayla Seagle and husband, Chris of Corbin, Kentucky, Amy Lewis and husband, Craig of Nashville, Tennessee, Jamie Parker of Milton, Kentucky and Sarah Messer of Danville, Kentucky. He was the brother of Helen Vanover and husband, Russell and Cathy Napier and Fiancé, Gary Nantz all of London, Kentucky, Debbie Roberts and husband, Gary of Hyden, Kentucky, Teresa Campbell and husband, Eddie of Ozark, Missouri and Karen Napier and husband, Preston of Jacksonville, Florida. He was the special friend of Lois Neal of Danville, Kentucky, Cindy Napier of Woodbine, Kentucky and Amy Jody of Williamsburg, Kentucky. He was also blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Ruby Baker Napier, by one son, David Lee Napier and by two brothers, Jimmy Darrell Napier and Ted Napier. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and worked as a self-employed roofer and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Napier, Jr will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday afternoon in the Laurel Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ron Mozier and Bro. Josh Griffith officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Keavy, Kentucky with military honors conducted by the local D.A.V. The family of Mr. Charlie Napier, Jr. will receive friends at Laurel Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:00 Noon until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Laurel Funeral Home, Corbin, Kentucky is honored to be of service to the Napier family.
