William Allen Ross, 85, died April 10, 2018. Born May 14, 1932 in Washington County, Ky., he was the son of the late Samuel Tilden and Ethel Pendygraft Ross. Bill was a 1950 graduate of Junction City High School. He worked as an electrician at Corning Glass Co. and retired from Phillips Lighting. He served in the US Army. Bill’s passion was collecting and restoring antique cars and participating in car shows. He loved all things automotive and was a huge NASCAR fan. He also loved his dog, Toby. He was predeceased by his wife, Ada Ross, a sister, Beulah Williams and a brother Samuel “Jack” Ross, two step-sisters, Goldie Benton and Martha Bugg.

Bill is survived by his daughters, Lou Ann Ross, Karen June (William Wise) Ross, his son, Dean Allen Ross, all of Danville and his grandson, Dylan Cooper Wise.

The funeral service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m., prior to the service. Rev. Mike Crowe will officiate. Burial will be in the Junction City Cemetery.  Memorial donations are suggested to the Danville-Boyle Co. Humane Society.
