Wayne Joseph Miller, 75, died on January 24, 2024, after a life filled with love and accomplishments. He was born on July 27, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois. Wayne was the son of the late Joseph Tony and Lorraine Czeweski Miller. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Anthony Miller.  Wayne graduated from St. Procopius High School, Benedictine University, and earned his Master’s at Indiana University. Wayne’s career path took him to Whirlpool Corporation, Matsushita (where he retired), and later, he brought his talents to Dana Corporation.

For 53 years, he shared his journey with his wife, Janine Mazza Miller, and raised a beautiful family—Matthew Miller (Lora Strachan), John (Claire) Miller, Nicole (Roy) Fields, and Brian Miller (Daniel Chavez).

Beyond his professional life, Wayne had a passion for flying and earned his private pilot license. He loved visiting Hawaii and creating lasting memories with his four grandchildren, Hudson Miller, Harper Miller, Kendall Fields, and Emerson Fields. His smile lives on in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Wayne’s warmth and love will be greatly missed, but his legacy lives on through the lives he touched.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2024, at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father Danny Schwendemen officiating.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
