Wanda Thomas, 68, of Harrodsburg died March 5, 2020 at Ephraim Medical Regional Hospital in Danville, Kentucky.
Wanda was born in Shelbyville, Kentucky to Herbert and Elizabeth Pinkston on May 17, 1951. Wanda’s early years were spent on the farm with her family enjoying life. As an adult she devoted her life to helping raise her grandchildren and worked hard for her family. Wanda was a member of Cornerstone Assembly of God where she grew closer to God and met many lifelong friends. Later in life she adored the welcoming of her greatgrandchildren that she always looked forward to spending time with.
Wanda is preceded in death by her father and mother, Herbert and Elizabeth Pinkston; sister, Helen Fisher; brother, Eddie Pinkston; grandparents, Minnice and Mattie Downey; great granddaughter, Marleigh Howard; and niece, Melissa Simpson.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Emilia (Donovan) Cornish of Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Jacob (Melissa) Howard of Perryville, Kasey (Nate) Cole of Harrodsburg, Peyton (Kris) Howard of Lawrenceburg, and Derek (Shai) Cornish of Lawrenceburg; seven great grandchildren, Tatum, Kora, Alaina, Adaline, Willow, Harper, and Sawyer; sister, Martha (Bobby) Goins of Junction City; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City with Pastor Tom Lane of Cornerstone Assembly of God officiating. Burial will follow at Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jacob Howard, Derek Cornish, Bobby Goins, Nate Cole, Kris Hutchins, and Seph Allen. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm, Wednesday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City. The family of Wanda wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Ephraim McDowell Hospital, Heritage Hospice, and Cornerstone Assembly of God members.
