Wanda Lee Sandlin May, 76, died May 24, 2020 in Lancaster, Kentucky. Born February 5, 1944 in Boone County, Kentucky to the late Vernon Gray and Elizabeth Hoodie Robertson.
She is predeceased by her parents, her son, James Franklin Honshul; and her brother, David Lyons and two grandchildren, David Honshul and Emily Snow.

Wanda is survived by her son, Charles (Michelle) Honshul of Eubank; daughters, Brenda Smith of Danville, Nancy (Rocky) Walls of Crab Orchard, Melissa (John) Mertz of Frankfort; brother, Broncey Lyons of Lexington; sister, Dorothy King of Lexington; grandchildren, Shawn Honshul, Megan Honshul, Chris Honshul, Kimberly Shouse, Ricky Ward II, Ashley Snow, William Vanhook, Matthew Vanhook, Brittany Honshul, Jacob Honshul, Michael Schmidt, Josh Honshul, McKayla Kemp, Cynthia Patrick, Jesi Chumbley, Susie Chumbley, Samantha Grigsby, and great-grandchildren; Albany Honshul, Diamond Honshul, Austin Sperry, Ariel Shouse, Sonny Estes, Leila Hutcherson, Ricky Ward III, A’zariyah Snow, Aubrey Vanhook, Abi Justice, QuinLan Honshul, J.W. Honshul, Jasper Sparrow, Makayla Honshul, Grayson Honshul, K.J. Honshul.

Pallbearers will be Michael Schmidt, William Vanhook, Matthew Vanhook, Ricky Ward III, Josh Honshul, and Jacob Honshul. Honorary pallbearer will be Landmark of Lancaster, where they called her “work Mom”.

Funeral services will be 1pm Friday at Stith Funeral Home in Junction City with visitation 11am Friday until the service. Rev. Brad King will officiate. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery.
