Scarlett Ember Cloyd, 12, died Saturday, September 22, 2018. Born on December 7, 2005 she was the daughter of Jeff and Angela Spalding and Stacy Cloyd (Eric) Price. Scarlett was a vibrant and active 7th grader at King Middle School in Mercer Co, KY. She was a precious daughter, loving sister, great cousin, wonderful aunt and incredible niece. She had a heart of gold, always siding with the underdog. She died with her sister, Haley Nicole Stratton and two nephews, Carson Layne Gastineau and Sawyer Cayne Gastineau.

She is survived by her parents, Stacy Cloyd (Eric) Price and Jeff and Angela Spalding; two brothers, Hunter Lee Stratton and Bailey (Mallory Moore) Spalding; three sisters, Miranda (Johnny) Isaacs, Kelsey (Cody) Bates and Kaitlyn (Ethan) Wilson; grandparents, Kay and Travis Cloyd and Bernard and Hattie Spalding; and aunts and uncles, Jimmy Cloyd, Rodney (Courtney) Cloyd and Rita (Keith) Monson.

The funeral service will be 1 p.m., Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Rev. Paul Stratton will officiate. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brissa Mullins, Hope Reynolds, Rodney Cloyd, Brian Cloyd, Tristan Cloyd, Tanner Cloyd, Bailey Spalding and Travis Fox. Visitation will be after 4 p.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Stith Funeral Home, 506 W. Shelby St., Junction City.
