Rose Lee Brown Mahan, 81, died September 14, 2020 in Harrodsburg. Born October 9, 1938 in Junction City, she was the daughter of the late William Rubin and Emma Douglas Brown. Rose is a 1956 graduate of Junction City High School and owned the Danville Bowlarama with her husband, David. Rose loved being around people and she loved to bowl several times a week. She is predeceased by her husband, David Mahan and her two sons, Joseph Mark Mahan and Michael David Mahan.

She is survived by her two daughters, Terri Lynn (Mike) Cooley and Dixie Lee (Tommy) Minor; six grandchildren, David Minor, James (Amber) Minor, Zach (Taylor) Cooley, Sarah (Lewis) Hines, Gavin Mahan and Benjamin Mahan; four great-grandchildren, Carter Minor, Avery Minor, Adalynn Hines and Maisie Hines; a sister, Edith Irene (Doug) Pendygraft, and her brother, William Rubin “Buck” Brown.

Public visitation will be held from 11 am to 1 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. The service and burial will be private. Rev. Barry Harmon will officiate. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Heritage Hospice. The online guestbook and our Hugs from Home program are available at www.stithcares.com.
